Mas as rota\u00e7\u00f5es dos planetas s\u00e3o muito, muito menores, ent\u00e3o, caso se conectem estes dois movimentos &#8211; a \u00f3rbita de Neptuno e a rota\u00e7\u00e3o de Saturno -, \u00e9 a rota\u00e7\u00e3o de Saturno que sofrer\u00e1 altera\u00e7\u00f5es.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;,&quot;t&quot;:13,&quot;a&quot;:&quot;click&quot;,&quot;b&quot;:76}\">No entanto, os dados da Cassini mostraram que os dois planetas n\u00e3o est\u00e3o exactamente em sincronia, apontando para um elemento ausente. Em 2022, os astr\u00f3nomos sugeriram que uma lua perdida, a que chamaram de Chrysalis, era uma explica\u00e7\u00e3o prov\u00e1vel para a inclina\u00e7\u00e3o actual de Saturno. Chrysalis teria orbitado o planeta durante milhares de milh\u00f5es de anos, contribuindo para a resson\u00e2ncia de Saturno com Neptuno, mas h\u00e1 cerca de 160 milh\u00f5es de anos a lua aproximou-se demais de Saturno e foi destru\u00edda num evento que criou os an\u00e9is do planeta e alterou sua inclina\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;,&quot;t&quot;:13,&quot;a&quot;:&quot;click&quot;,&quot;b&quot;:76}\">\u0106uk e os colegas aprimoraram a ideia. Levantaram a hip\u00f3tese de que o evento n\u00e3o foi apenas uma lua a ro\u00e7ar Saturno e depois a desintegrar-se, mas uma colis\u00e3o entre os antecessores de Tit\u00e3 e Hip\u00e9rion. \u201cEu chamo-a de proto-Hip\u00e9rion, mas era mil vezes maior &#8211; era como uma vers\u00e3o menor de Tit\u00e3\u201d, refere \u0106uk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;,&quot;t&quot;:13,&quot;a&quot;:&quot;click&quot;,&quot;b&quot;:76}\">Essa lua perdida colidiu com Tit\u00e3 e perdeu grande parte da massa, um evento que explicaria a \u00f3rbita inst\u00e1vel de Tit\u00e3 e a rota\u00e7\u00e3o de Saturno. \u201cNeste momento, Saturno est\u00e1 a oscilar um pouco r\u00e1pido demais\u201d, diz \u0106uk. \u201cMas se voltarmos algumas centenas de milh\u00f5es de anos, quando vimos isso acontecer, a oscila\u00e7\u00e3o era um pouco menor do que o necess\u00e1rio para ter a resson\u00e2ncia com Neptuno. Se adicionarmos uma lua extra, a oscila\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a exacta.
